Amber Moser

Board of Directors

Amber’s previous non-profit work and volunteer experience was with the YMCA, Girl Scouts, NYS Llama Association, and the United Way. She’s worked at three YMCA camps: Tippecanoe (day camp) and Chingachgook (overnight) as the arts and crafts director and the Glens Falls YMCA as the day camp director. Also, she wrote grants for the YMCA, two of which received funding. She is currently working on and researching grants for Camp Little Notch.

Amber was introduced to Camp Little Notch in 1977 as a camper and then returned in 1989 as staff. At camp, she has worn many hats: counselor, unit leader, kitchen aide, lifeguard, program director, assistant director, and volunteer. Camp is the place where she found her spirit and discovered how to face challenges. She was allowed to fail (fail miserably at times) and allowed to succeed (succeeded like a rock star!). The personal development and professional growth was and still is a game changer. Amber believes that everyone should have the opportunity to experience camp and its wonder.

Amber is known for her hard-working, dedicated, energetic disposition. She has over 25 years of consulting experience in program, project, and change management and an extensive background in adult learning theory and training. She has worked with clients in the Private, Corporate, and Non-profit sectors nationally and internationally. She excels in team development, designing, developing, and implementing programs. Her ability to communicate with internal and external clients and vendors is a valuable asset.
